My Bio

I am a lifelong Washington State resident, and comics fan.

I illustrate comics stories for fun and profit, and most recently I have contributed to Comicbookschool.com for both the 2020 and 2021 "Creator Connection" anthologies (check 'em out!).

I am also the illustrator for issues 1-5 of "The Prospector" series by Darren Neely.

Favourite Visual Artist
I have a soft spot for silver-age artists, so Jack Kirby, John Buscema, Joe Sinnot, etc. I have to lump in a lot of the 90's artists, too, so Jim Lee, Todd McFarlane, Marc Silvestri, etc.
Favourite TV Shows
Classic Doctor Who, Star Trek TNG, Classic Trek... I suppose that makes me a huge nerd, but I own it.
Favourite Books
Anything by G.K. Chesterton, The Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan (I loathe the Amazon adaptation), Dune (the first book, I couldn't get through the sequels), The Lord of the Rings trilogy
Favourite Writers
G.K. Chesterton, Heinlein, Herbert, and Howard
Favourite Games
The original SMS Phantasy Star, because it is awesome, Streets of Rage series (where else can you smack your little brother and not get yelled at), Revenge of Shinobi, Tenchu (PS1)
Favourite Gaming Platform
I'm a classic console kind of guy. Sega Genesis, SNES, etc.
Tools of the Trade
Drafting lead holder with 2H lead, mechanical pencil in .5 and .3mm sizes (HB), Crowquill, Windsor Newton brush, India ink, Copic markers, and more recently an ipad Pro

Your art is amazing in being flexible with both standard comic book style AND AniManga; especially my favourite part is how you realize healthy physiques and curves, really makes me want to Not only draw such but to work out exercise to get such shape! Really motivating stuff you make! Never Stop!
